back
This
page will inform you on people’s different kinds of pet snakes. Here are just
a few of different pet snakes.
On the left, here is a snow corn snake or albino corn snake. It
is one of the most beautiful of corn snakes. These snakes are very easy to tame
down in a short time, and will be tolerant to being handled a lot. The snow corn
will grow to the same size as a normal corn snake, about 3 to 5 feet. They are a
constrictor and their diet consists of
mice and other rodents. You should feed them once to twice a week depending on
the size of the food and size of the snake. Their food should be dead already.
And fresh water in a shallow dish should always be available. For more
information on snow corn snakes go to this link: http://www.exotictropicals.com/.
Here on the right is another corn snake. It is your normal red corn snake.
And if you look to the right here is a baby Brazilian Rainbow Boa. And
under it is a baby female Northern Emerald Tree boa. Some of these snakes get to
be very large.
They grow from 3.5
to 7 feet long and they can in captivity for 20 years. There are around 9 to 10
subspecies of rainbow boas. You should always have water in their cage. They eat
mice and rats. The size of the food depends on how large the snake is. The food
should be already dead. The babies should be fed once every week to ten days and
with adults they should be fed every ten days to two weeks. Don’t over feed.
Here on the left is a pet with a little girl. They do get very large. For more
